Things to Do in Tenerife
The massive volcano Mount Teide dominates the views, but the island is also rich in varied scenery, from the stark otherworldly beauty of Teide National Park to the thick pine forests of La Orotava Valley. Then there’s the awe-inspiring sunsets on Beijo beach and the breath-taking Los Gigantes cliffs that adorn so many tourist brochures about the island.
All this combines to create a getaway like no other. Spend the morning taking a camel ride through a volcanic crater, hike through the stunning Anaga Mountains in the afternoon, and then relax on Las Vistas beach in the evening. And you can do all that in one day!
SIAM PARK IN COSTA ADEJE
This is quite obvious - Siam Park is the biggest water park in Europe and one of the easiest things to do in Tenerife, accessible within 5-30 min drive from all the resorts of Tenerife South. Located in Costa Adeje Siam Park is open from the morning till the evening seven days a week all year long. Siam Park offers tens of different levels of water slides, a slow river and a huge artificial lake - a pool with small islands and the biggest artificial waves in the world. Here you will find fun for every taste and age. Basically, most of the slides are available from kids that are 140cm or taller. If you stay in Tenerife South, you can take free Siam Park bus, coursing every 30 minutes from the marked public bus stops in Los Cristianos, Las Americas, and Costa Adeje. Staying in more remote and less popular resorts in Puerto de La Cruz you can take Siam Park Day Tour from Tenerife North. Also, island visitors staying in the Los Gigantes area are able to get to Siam Park with Siam Park Day Tour from Los Gigantes area.
